He completed his master's and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague (2006, 2012) and postgraduate studies at the Humboldt University Law School in Berlin (2010).
His earlier professional activity is mainly linked with the Constitutional Court, where he was a member of the analytical department from November 2006 to September 2009. In September 2010, he was appointed assistant to the President of the Constitutional Court, Pavel Rychetský, and held this position until the end of his second term in August 2023. From June to December 2023, he served simultaneously as assistant to judge and then President of the Constitutional Court, Josef Baxa. From August 2010 to March 2011, he was an external consultant to the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic.
In April 2016, he became a member of the Working Committee of the Government Legislative Council on Public Law I – Committee on Administrative Law No. 3, which he remained until May 2023. From March 2021 to December 2023, he was a member of the Government Legislative Council. He co-authored a commentary on the Constitution of the Czech Republic (Wolters Kluwer, 2015). Since January 2024, he has been a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court.
