He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University, Prague. In the course of his studies and after graduating the University, he worked as a legal consultant of the Office of the President of the Republic where he prepared legal grounds related to execution of powers of the President of the Czech Republic provided under the Constitution of the Czech Republic (particularly he prepared drafts of presidential veto relating to proposed Acts and also constitutional submissions). In the course of his compulsory military service, he performed a function of a lawyer in the Legal Representation Agency of the Ministry of Defence. Since 2004 he worked as an articled clerk at the law office PPS Attorneys and after he had passed bar examination in 2006 he became the co-operative lawyer and subsequently in 2008 the partner of the law office. Throughout his attorney career he focused on both private and public law, in the field of public law especially on the law of public procurement and concession and also tasks related to state aid. Since 2009 he became a member of the disciplinary committee of the Czech Bar Association. He was appointed a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court in 2013. Finally, he has authored several legal publications concerning the relationship of international and national law in application practice of the courts.
