Judge at the Supreme Administrative Court since 2016

At Masaryk University in Brno, he acquired a law degree at the Faculty of Law and completed political sciences at the Faculty of Social Studies. In the academic year 2009/2010 he also passed a one-year study programme at the Universidade Católica in Lisbon. During the years 2003-2013 he worked as an assistant to a judge at the Supreme Administrative Court. In 2013-2015 he was an assistant to a judge at the Constitutional Court. Since 1st January 2016 he has been appointed as a judge and assigned to the Supreme Administrative Court. Simultaneously he continues in his teaching and scientific research activities at Masaryk University in Brno where he has become in 2015 an associate professor for the constitutional law, and he is a visiting lecturer at the Universidade Católica in Lisbon. He is the author of several monographs and numerous articles published in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. Since 2004 he has been systematically processing the case-law of the Supreme Administrative Court for the law journal “Soudní rozhledy”, he is a member to its editorial advisory board.
