Judge of the Supreme Administrative court since 2003 - Presiding judge of a chamber
Vojtěch Šimíček holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně, Brno (currently Masaryk University) where he has been teaching constitutional law since 1992. In 1995 he completed his postgraduate studies there and in 2001 he became an associate professor. Furthermore, he has completed several long-term study stays abroad – Regensburg and Bochum, and a five-month internship at the Bundestag (Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany). From 1996 till 2003 he was working as a legal assistant at the Constitutional Court. In 2003 he was appointed a judge and assigned to the Supreme Administrative Court where he has been serving as a presiding judge of a chamber. He authored and co-authored numerous publications.
