Václav Štencel first completed his studies as a senior court official in Kroměříž and then, between 2003 and 2010, while working at the District Court in Frýdek-Místek, a law firm, and the Regional Court in Brno, he studied law and European studies at universities in Brno, Olomouc, and Salzburg. He subsequently worked as a lawyer for the Government Commissioner for the Representation of the Czech Republic before the Court of Justice of the European Union and then as an assistant judge at the Supreme Administrative Court. In 2017, he was appointed a judge and assigned to the Regional Court in Brno, where he worked in the administrative justice section. In 2024 and 2025, he was temporarily assigned to the Supreme Administrative Court, and on January 1, 2026, he became a permanent judge of the Supreme Administrative Court.
