Ondřej Mrákota graduated from the Faculty of Law, Palacký University, Olomouc. He was appointed a judge in 2000 and until 2007 he served at the District Court in Opava, civil section. In 2007, he was assigned to the administrative section of the Regional Court in Ostrava. From July 2010 until December 2010 he was temporarily assigned to the Supreme Administrative Court, and at the same time he served as a judge at the Regional Court in Ostrava for the civil appeal section. Since 1 October 2010 he is a permanent judge at the Supreme Administrative Court.
