Filip Dienstbier holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law, Charles University, Prague, where he acquired a superior law degree (JUDr.) as well. He attended postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. Since 2001 he has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Palacký University in Olomouc with specialization in Administrative Law and Environmental Law. In 2003-2004 he worked as an assistant to judge at the Supreme Administrative Court. In 2008-2014 he was a member of the Government Legislative Council. In 2013-2014 he worked as an assistant to a judge at the Constitutional Court. In 2014 he has been appointed a judge and assigned to the Supreme Administrative Court. He continues in his teaching and scientific research activities at Palacký University in Olomouc.
