JUDr. Faisal Husseini, Ph.D.

He graduated from the Masaryk University Faculty of Law with a Master's degree (2001) and a PhD (2014). He worked as a lawyer at the office of the Public Defender of Rights from 2004 to 2008. After that, he was an assistant judge of the Supreme Administrative Court and a member of the analytical department of the Constitutional Court. In 2016, he was appointed a judge and assigned to the Regional Court in Brno, where he worked in the department of administrative justice. In 2022 and 2023, he was temporarily assigned to the Supreme Administrative Court. He became its permanent judge on 1 January 2024. In his publications, he focuses mainly on issues of administrative and constitutional law (e.g. he is a co-author of the commentary to the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms).
